Since 2005 BIMA has been a resource for its members, helping them to network with each other, offering educational opportunities on best practices, and representing their collective interests to the rest of the financial industry.

BIMA provides opportunities for members to meet, communicate and help each other. Our semi-annual conferences are our premier events for members to meet face-to-face, and we provide a forum for members to discuss issues affecting investment operations.

EDUCATION

Staying in top form requires a dedication to continual learning. Staying on top of best practices, keeping pace with rapid market changes, and always being alert for the latest information are critically important to maintaining momentum and success in the industry.

In addition to sponsoring two annual conferences, which are included in your membership fees, BIMA provides regular communication regarding buy-side issues to its membership.

ADVOCACY

As an individual, you may feel you have little control over market regulation and other environmental factors which are of critical importance to your future. Through BIMA, you have a voice that will be heard.

BIMA interacts frequently with regulators to represent the interests of its members to establish favourable conditions in the marketplace.
